I have been testing the Miro program on my iMac - to watch videos and tv programs. A nice interface, although the Finnish localization sucks, and the system seems to work quite reliably despite being version 0.9.9.1. Miro is an early example of next generation internet - peer-to-peer technologies for various media formats, especially video. I hope openness wins. I have also tried Joost, which is in early beta, but I don't like the concept of DRM-infested world.
