[Item Permalink] Sherlock vs. Watson, a rerun -- Comment()
The Sherlock tool of Mac OS X behaves better than it used to. Some channels even have descriptions in Finnish. See Sherclock main window in Finnish and a Jaguar search. Thus the Sherlock tool is becoming usable. However, I still prefer Watson and continue to use it. (Sherlock actually isn't even in the Dock on my iBook.)

A couple of Mac OS X items. Fink is (sort of) available for Jaguar. Fink makes it easy to get a lot of Unix-based codes running on Mac OS X. Also, HotApp 1.6 is available. This little tool makes it easy to define new keyboard commands for actions, e.g., to activate the screen saver.

[Item Permalink] Radio Community -- Comment()
Why I decided to continue with Radio? One reason was the geek mentality: this isn't a ready-made system but makes it possible to experiment with new things and possibilities. Another reason was the community. There are dozens of interesting bloggers using Radio, and I want to see what they are doing. Here is a list of some of the interesting blogs: Of course, there are many others. Have to keep looking for the interesting writers.
