Mac Net Journal points to Glenn Fleishman on Convergence: Mac, Unix, Linux: "I wrote my regular biweekly column yesterday for The Seattle Times about encountering the growing convergence of Mac OS X and Unix/Linux uses. At the O'Reilly Mac OS X Conference back at the beginning of the month, it was pretty extraordinary to see Titanium after Titanium running mostly OS X, but quite a few with single or multiple boots into flavors of Linux and (mostly) BSD Unix." Adobe releases Acrobat Reader 5.1: "Adobe today released Acrobat Reader 5.1, the latest version of its application to view, navigate, browse, and print PDF files. The update adds new capabilities for e-government initiatives, digital signature validating, and the ability to open file attachments from directly within Acrobat Reader. Version 5.1 also allows users to send emails that attach the open Adobe PDF file without switching to your email application. Acrobat Reader is available for Mac OS 8.6 or later and Mac OS X."
