Ssp commented my entry titled Should we use a computer or are you in a hurry? "That's just a brilliant headline and very frequently the feeling I have vis-à-vis IT use. [...] Any chance of getting a summary of your main points?" My column discussed the interruptions caused by IT - phones, e-mails, pda calendars etc. According to some recent research, average uninterrupted worktime in the office is about 12 minutes. How creative and deep can you be in 12 minutes? More relevant to the title were some ideas about the wrong use of IT - causing confusion instead of clarity.
