![]() Mac OS X on Intel: Try before you buy? "As a result, Apple will give thousands, possibly millions, of people a taste of Mac OS X running full speed on their own PCs. Apple's giving their potential future customers a free taste, that's what they're doing. It's a try-before-you-buy deal." I don't really believe millions of users will download from a p2p network illegal copies of Mac OS X for Intel. But if a few do, may be there is some impact. Should Apple let other vendors offer Mac OS X on their systems? I don't know. I like Macs because they just work. Would Dell be able to do the same with Mac OS X? I don't think so.
