I installed Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger) on my PowerBook over three weeks ago. Today the uptime reached 24 days. Not bad at all for a brand-new operating system.

John Gruber writes a fine summary of the heated discussion about Mac OS X on Intel and trusted computing: "There is no indication, none, zero, not even a whiff, that Apple intends to enable, let alone encourage, developers to create software with the TPM file-access authorization-locking described by Doctorow."
