Rocks Cluster Register lists clusters build using the Rocks Linux distribution. We are currently evaluating Rocks as a platform for grid infrastructure. Seems that the number of Rocks clusters is growing rapidly.

Modeling acoustic waves with Elmer -- Comment()
Today I solved with Elmer the Helmholtz equation, which is used to model lossless acoustic waves. This is example number eight of the Elmer tutorial. The following picture shows a solution for the model:

Lawrence Lessig says that IP protection is a business, not cultural, battleground: "Contrary to what many people see as a cultural war between conservative business types and liberal independents, this is not a 'commerce versus anything' conflict.
