Author of Linux Patent Study Contradicts Ballmer: "Open source faces no more, if not less, legal risk than proprietary software. The market needs to understand that the study Microsoft is citing actually proves the opposite of what they claim it does." This happens more and more. A study makes a point, but someone turns the result to their own purposes. Few people bother to check what was really said. The reality is created by the biggest advertising budget.
