![]() Kissed by a butterfly: "I was kissed by a butterfly today. I was sitting in a beer garden with Horst, to enjoy what must have been one of the last truly warm late summer days, when suddenly a butterfly flew past, landed for split second on my arm, then flew off again. It was a truly elevating, almost poetic experience." [The Aardvark Speaks] I had a similar experience this summer, while I was taking photos of European peacocks and some other butterflies. The first time it was so suprising I didn't much have time for thinking, and the butterfly flew away after "kissing" my hand. The same happened a second time, and I tried to transfer my camera from the hand the butterfly was sitting on to take a photo of the event. Unfortunately, the butterfly flew away, and I was not able to make the event repeat again. Here is one of the butterfly pictures:
