Book Reviews
![]() Today appeared my net column on too much choice in the Linux world (in Finnish, Älä vaivaa päätäsi linuxeilla, onhan sinulla jo windows). In the column I refer to the recent book by Barry Schwartz, The Paradox of Choice. Update: A reader commented the column and pointed to www.distrowatch.com. According to this site, there are 278 known Linux distributions. Update 2: The column is generating a lot of feedback. It seems that there may be 370 Linux distributions. Also, check out the article Number of Linux Distributions Surpasses Number of Users.
