Its been just about a week but I've been in sheer bliss with the new G5
even since it arrived; even the packaging is cool. Its super fast, has
done all that I've asked of it in the blink of an eye and boy its one
lovely machine.
Even the little details; like one single whilte cable that comes out of
the back of the screen containing all the cables & power for the
screen, keyboard & mouse. Its lovely! The wireless logitec 8 button
mouse is great too - I've the usual 3 buttons and scroll wheel, a
scroll up/down button and 3 buttons left for all the expose features.
8-buttons is just the right amount for OS X :)
But oh, the screen. Its just so big and clear! I love it! It makes the 17" PowerBook look tichy, blurry and very very dirty :)
If you're a geek hacking code for a living, do yourself a favour. Just
order a dual CPU G5 and 30" screen today. You'll thank me for it later.
If money's tight, there are some bargains on ebay...
