Unifying SCA and JBI to make a standard SOA runtime for the Java platform
I agree with this great post on SCA and JBI, that JBI should become a standard deployment container for SCA with Java (SCA obviously supports other platforms) and that JBI 2.0 should endorse SCA as a standard POJO based programming model for SOA.

I'd also like to see some unification between SCA and JBI deployment units as they are both doing very similar things; I'm sure there's a way we can make them work nicely together such that the tooling can work with both worlds, the POJO SOA programming model of SCA and the ESB container model of JBI. I'm sure that the Apache Tuscany and Apache ServiceMix projects can work together on this to make it a reality.
