Work had a big network outage yesterday, so I didn't do any weblogging from there, though I did manage to connect to radio remotely before the crash, which was pretty cool (I'm a sucker for anything that networks).
Today has been a flurry of multitasking Axis stuff and Macromedia stuff and life stuff in preparation for my trip to Italy tomorrow. I'm feeling pretty overwhelmed, what with releases happening everywhere I turn and the W3C Web Services Description + Architecture groups meeting face-to-face next week (I am truly bummed not to be able to go - I find the F2Fs to be a really great way to move things forward and love participating). I need to just put all that aside for a while, though, and let the world turn without me for a week. If I can come back from this trip recharged, happy, and relaxed, I'll end up doing much better stuff once I return....
In other news, a friend forwarded me this - the Washington Post has a really cool article about The Wire, one of the TV shows I really like these days. It's a great behind-the-scenes take on the show, much more rich and textured than most such pieces. Go Tamara! (I love the part about the rat wrangler)
