The sign on the ceiling of the operating room says "Smile, you can see!" I know this because after the laser was done reshaping the cornea of my right eye this evening, I read it. I didn't even know there was a sign there before the operation (PRK).
I am amazed and wildly pleased that things are this clear at this point. I'll write up the whole story later on, but for now I just wanted to post a quick "wow" because this is rather momentous for someone who's worn glasses since they were 5.... now I can't wait to do the left eye on the 16th. OK, going to rest now, more later.
