When I Saw You Fall Away Our great friend and colleague Forrest Duncan died on Friday of a heart attack. He was 43. I know he loved working and chatting with all of you. Malky has captured Forrest's magic very well here: http://radio.weblogs.com/0116991/ He entered my life in December 1998 when we started building Madasafish together. He became my brother. Then he and Malky and Willy and I built Mysterian together. These were his great creations ... Over the last three or four months we stopped talking to each other, and I just wish that hadn't happened. The plan was sometime to renew and now we never will. Forrest yes we loved you man. We will never forget this very funny and beautiful guy.   12:18:29 PM     Forrest Duncan died yesterday. We love you man and we're very very sad. Can't believe we won't see you again. The picture below was in the pub with Neil and myself on 21 march this year. my diary says "forrest and neil in caledonian alehouse edinburgh/war, baudrillard, football, mysterian etc etc/home on 5pm train". so it was a good laugh. neil and forrest stayed on... i didn't know but this was the last time we were all together. just happened to have the camera with me for some reason. 10 days later he resigned from mysterian. The one below that again was in Ness on 4 August last year. Beautiful day, neil playing the guitar on the deck behind his house, forrest and myself chilling and elizabeth and rosie on the roof of neils shed. later we went over to eoropie beach and watched the surfers and the sun setting in the atlantic ocean.
