My book ships tomorrow. I need to keep errata, code snippets, etc on this site. So, I've decided to start a blog. :-) http://www.keithba.net/book/ is the URL. [KeithBa's Blog]

Congrats, Keith. I'm off to Amazon...

WSE and the WSDK playing together nicely:

http://www.cbdiforum.com/bronze/ws_security.php3

"Apart from the obvious difficulties with certificates we found no obvious problems with the actual SOAP implementations of WS-Security. Tokens from .NET were accepted by AXIS and vice versa. Encryption also worked for the round-trip."

Fantastic stuff.

"We hope that in a future release of .NET studio the WSE enhancements will be included in the automatic web reference proxies, but to do that right one really needs a way of conveying WS-Sec requirements in WSDL which currently is not part of the standard."

WS-SecurityPolicy? Admittedly, wsdl.exe cannot enforce assertions in the proxy classes it generates. That stated, I wonder how Microsoft plans to incorporate the new policy specifications into wsdl.exe/WSE.
