NEW: .NET Alerts Version 6.0 Beta SDK Fresh off the grill: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=b8590bc8-f5ea-4d7b-9763-d32df7e1ea90 With this release, Microsoft .NET Alerts is now implemented as a Web service. Sweet! UPDATE: A quick inspection of the .NET Alerts SGK documentation has revealed something interesting; its implementation incorporates SOAP Routing Protocol (SOAP-RP) elements in the header of outbound SOAP messages that target the Alerts Notification Service (ANS) and the Alerts Subscription Management Service (ASMS). Unfortunately, the implementation utilizes neither WS-Routing nor WSE.
