British Cops - Shoot to Kill, really?

I waited for a while to write my views on the shooting and killing of the Brazilian in Britain. I am now convinced that it was murder! A trained officer, especially special force, would not have behaved the way the shooter did. From eye witness accounts we hear that the shooter tackled and sat on the victim and then pumped five, yes, five, shots into the victim. If the shooter were a properly trained officer, his first concern would have been to capture the suspect alive. A live suspect is an intelligence gold mine. Not a dead one! There are many reasons why the shooter might want ot kill a suspect. One, does not want the victim to spill any information (works if the shooter is an accomplice). Second, the shooter is extracting vengance. Third, scared out of his mind and totally incompetent to do police work. No other reasons are possible.

For the authorities to express "deep regrets" is a shame. The shooting has only brought to surface all the inadequecy of their readiness to take on any type of threat. This leaves the public unsure of the police, create a sense of distrust of the "brown skins - any ethnic or nationality", and plays into the schemes of the perpetrators. What a shame!

I pray that people, all kinds (officials, law enforcement, general public, and the voice less), would resort to non-violent principles of protest that Gandhiji had advocated. Violence is not the answer, from any one!
