Jeez...you'd think I would settle in on a singular theme for this weblog. Until now I was too focused. The nice thing about Radioland's capabilities over Blogger (and others) is the ability to modify some important parameters. Like the title.
Groove's software is picking up momentum each day, though at a relatively easy pace (is this by design?). One new tool for Groove out holds tremendous promise. Ashok Hingorani has put MS Excel in Groove. Yep, its a large step forward http://www.apwiz.com/gxl.htm .
I have been giving thought to Groove in a variety of settings, most recently within healthcare. Lots of promise there. But they have said the same about telemedicine and it has never taken off. There are multiple factors involved in why telemedicine has sputtered and fizzled (in my humble opinion). I think a major factor is that many technology enablers are not designed to compliment practice patterns/procedures and add to workload. That's the trick: designing something that naturally fits into what we are already doing.
Is telemedicine up to this challenge? Is Groove?
