The organising for the West Highland Way is underway and everything is good so far. The initial talks between the pupils and the head master took place last week which included discussion about sponsorship, funding and where the money raised would be best placed.
The outcome of the talk:
1) The school has agreed to contribute a laptop and a digital camera so that information about the activities of the day during the walk can be kept updated at the end of each day.
2) A monetary contribution was agreed to help fund part of the cost which the pupils taking part have to undertake - provisions, equipment, accomodation, etc.
3) Money raised through sponsorship will be used to help Cancer Research UK and SCIAF.
