Credit has gotten more of my friends in more trouble than I want to even think about.  And with more and more people being laid off and finding themselves without a job (especially in the IT industry) I think it may be important to review these rules.  Borrow from whoever you need to, but don't rack up credit card debt.  It will kill you financially.
