"While we get wicked all in your brain cracks and crevices" - I've been listening non-stop for the last few weeks to Jurassic5.  I bought "Power in Numbers"  and "Quality Control" recently and I have to say that this is definitely some of the best rap I've heard in a long time!  Reminiscent of Tribe Called Quest and Leaders of the New School.  Definitely a must have for anybody who remotely likes hip-hop.  They'll be in Dallas on November 13th and Austin at Stubb's on November 14th, all Texas fans should go and check em out!  I'm kind of hacked that there is no H-town show, and I'm going to be checking out Guttermouth at Fitzgeralds on the 14th, so I think I'm going to have to miss J5 this time around, unfortunately.

testing remote posting to Radio!  It works!

Now I can post throughout the day as I see fit, from work, on the road!  I think I'm finally starting to wrap my head around this product and architecture!  Me likey very much!

It flooded last night in Houston...entire sections of the city are shut down today.  They're clearing it up right now though. Hopefully, there wasn't too much damage.  Houston's still recovering from the April 2001 floods.

Portrait of a Blogger. These tend to be the kind of kuro5hin articles that I hate the most because they are so sweeping in their generalities to the point of being useless, but this one makes me laugh.  [kuro5hin.org]
