One of my friends turned me on to a really cool little internet experiment called NationStates.  The premise is that you create a country.  Every day a new issue or set of issues confronts you and you have to pass legislation on it.  Over time you see your countries political and economic philosophies emerge based on your legislation.  You can check out my nation, the Federation of Chahuaco here.
