updated the menu list since a lot of my web reading was getting stale...

Oh, I forgot to mention that due to a mixup at Best Buy, my parents ended up with one too many MuVo's on their hands, so they gave me one last week.  This thing is pretty sweet, it's the size of a pack of gum, and is essentially a 128Mb USB hard drive that plugs into some speakers.  It has rudimentary mp3 playing capabilities (skip ahead and back, play, pause, stop, and volume control) and doesn't skip at all when running or walking (my wife has become addicted to it for gym workouts).  Admittedly, it doesn't have any cataloging features like the iPod, and has about 10-40 times less storage space ,but it is super-easy to use, less than a quarter of the price and can be used as a portable hard drive to transfer any other type of data you can think of.  All you do to transfer files to it is plug it into a USB port and it shows up as a hard drive on your computer so you can drag-and-drop what you want.

The only thing I don't like about it is the fact that there is not an LED or some other type display that shows what song you're listening to.  Still I think that allows the small size and with as few songs as you can fit on this it's not too annoying an issue.

Also, unlike the iPod, it doesn't have any of that file-sharing protection crap that is so annoying.  I think it hits a niche for the non-technorati who just want to have a portable mp3 player.  Oh yeah, and did I mention it's tiny?  This is pretty close to actual size:
