There's a certain serendipity to loading your entire mp3 collection into your player.  Nothing quite like collecting your thoughts as the playlist rolls from Sexy Finger Champs' "The Car Song"  into Stevie Wonder's "Knocks Me Off My Feet."  I suppose there's some life lesson in here but I'm just too bull headed to find it :)

A.I.G. Shares Fall as Sales Drop on Fears Over SARS. Shares of the American International Group, the big insurer, fell after the company said that severe acute respiratory syndrome was curbing sales in China By Bloomberg News. [New York Times: Business]

Anyone want to try and explain to me how a fear of sales would make someone hold off on buying insurance or financial services?  It would seem to me that the insurance industry would thrive under something like that.

If you use WinAmp to listen to mp3's you need to get Enhancer.  I set up a Shoutcast server at home so my wife could just tune in and listen to music she likes while she's working and so I've been getting back into Winamp's plug-ins.  Enhancer is one of my faves.  You should also get MuchFX while you are at it.
