Microsoft has a consulting division?  Who knew an entire business could be built around the Blue Screen of Death and the "3 finger salute"?

Looks like Cote's getting some link-lovin from Russell Beattie for his Java I/O post.  My opinions on Herr Cote's post on Java I/O?  In the immortal words of those Budweiser "Whaddup" guys:

True.  True.

Wireless Internet in Hotels. Marriott International said yesterday that it had completed the installation of wireless high-speed Internet access systems in 400 hotels in the United States, Canada, Britain and Germany. Marriott said the wireless Internet service, commonly known as Wi-Fi, was available in hotel lobbies, meeting rooms and other public spaces. It said it was the largest such deployment in the hotel industry. By Joe Sharkey. [New York Times: Business]

Have I mentioned that I LOVE MARRIOTT?!?  I just got done reading J. H. Marriott's "The Spirit to Serve" (available in the drawers of most Marriott hotels) and was very impressed by the history of the company as well as their ability to navigate the management of a multi-national corporate conglomerate.  Every interaction I've had with the company (and Host Marriott, it's sister real estate company) has been positive.  What I've been most impressed with (and how I judge a company's character the quickest) as by how they handle mess ups and snafus (both theirs and mine).  I've never once encountered anyone their who sought to shift the blame or do anything other than fix the situation as quickly as possible.

I hope they are rolling Wi-Fi out to the Marriott Courtyards since that is my hotel of choice while on the road.
