SouthEast Air will be rolling out in-flight WiFi access in the near future. It will only be a matter of time before the other airlines follow suit. Imagine, hackers just sitting there next to you on your way to DisneyWorld, laptops open, stealing your credit card numbers as you make reservations at your favorite restaurant or order a book from amazon...
Still, I think it's a cool idea. I really appreciated the entertainment that Continental provided on our way to Hawaii a few months ago. We got to watch movies, play video games, and a whole host of other things that made the trip pass much quicker. If I could surf the web, check e-mail, and get some business done, it would make me that much happier. via [boing boing]
