U.S. May Veto Islamic Law in Iraq (AP).  I'm not entirely sure where I stand on this.  On the one hand I think that using religion (any religion) as the primary inspiration and arbiter for a legal system is a terrible idea, I'm not sure I agree with us being so heavy-handed about the situation.  However, I think if some sort of Mid East peace is going to be achieved it might be necessary to instill a government that is not the first choice of the people. via [Yahoo!
