I feel that it's about time that Scotland was given full independence, as our devolved government is an absolute shambles.  For a start three yeasr into the government and we still haven't even built our parliament building and the price which was originally meant to be in the region of 82 million punds is now at the last estimate going to cost in the region of 101 million pounds excluding VAT.  So why then is the government spending in the region of 2 million pounds on the formal entrance of the building.

I feel that full independence could only make the country stronger and would drive Scotland as an inmdependant force in Europe.

Ulrika Joohnson Rape

It has emerged that John Leslie is apparently the instigator of the Ulrika Johnson rape.  But is anyone else sceptical about the whole thing, for a start the story emerges in perfect time for the launch of her book coincidence, I don't think so.  Secondly these other women who have emerged and claimed that Leslie had harrased them, attacked them or sometimes both (23 at the last count) none of these women reported it to the police at the time.  And a sizeable number of them came back and met up with him time and time again.  My view is that they are simply jumping on the bandwagon hoping to gain a few thousand pounds by selling their story to the papers.  Maybee he did rape her but she didn't report it at the time and it is going to be impossible to prove wether he did or didn't.  So the mans career could be ruined over a cheap publicity stint.

A picture named doones.gifOne year ago today Apple introduced the iPod. Yesterday I discovered a new feature in my iPod. It's so small I don't have to choose between a Walkman and the iPod. I can take both. Then when they do their annoying pledge drive on KQED-FM, I can switch over to Bach. I did that yesterday on my afternoon walk. What a nice feature. [Scripting News]

Here's an interesting article I found on the internet today while looking for articles on Scottish football It's called How to halt Scottish football's decline?  And as the name suggests it is about the recent fall the Scottish games standards.
