Here's an experiment: Lock 10 lyricists in a room. Ask them to list
every lyrical cliche ever used. Give them three hours. How many do they
come up with? 30? 50?
String them all together. What do you get?

Moment Like This, the most god-awful song ever written. This little
ditty, the first single from the winner of "American Idol" is so
insipid, so cliche-ridden that after really listening to the lyrics, I
have to believe that it was originally written as a joke. Nothing
against Kelly Clarkson, the winner of this talent contest. I think
she's clearly the most talented of the group. But if I hear that song
one more time.....I may have to give up radio for the next two months
or so.
