HDTV to Finally Return to NY Around Year's End
When the WTC fell, most of NYC's digital television transmissions (including those that carry HDTV signals) went dark. In addition, several brave broadcast engineers lost their lives that day trying to keep the stations on the air. Now, one year later, we get the word that work is progressing to restore these digital signals to the air. For those of us with HDTV in our blood, it's one more step back to normalcy.
