Just discovered that Chris Rangel at rangelmd has added me to his blog roll with a nice posting welcoming me to the community. That's just great. One correction, however, since he says I'm a family practice physician. I'm actually not a doc, and I don't even play one on TV (but I get to work with many of them on the Internet). In any event, the goal of this blog is to interact and learn what works from the many great docs out there who are pioneering uses of various technologies (including blogs and the net) so I hope the fact that I'm not a physician won't be held against me! If you want to learn more, take a gander at my "About" page.

File this under "Strangest Stories Related to 9/11": Apparently, a memorial service last week was to include a "dove release." The only problem was that the organizers couldn't find a service that had doves available that day. So they used pigeons...many of whom couldn't fly. This is what happened. (from the NY Times)
