We finally made it to the BMW dealer on Saturday and Denise took a look at modifying Kathy's helmet which has been putting a big squeeze on her head. I think we might finally be at the point where she can wear it comfortably on longer rides. Now if the weather would just cooperate a little and make it a little cooler.
Rosanne Cash and her album Interiors is my itunes selection this morning. Beautiful music about a most difficult time in her life - when she was separating from Rodney Crowell. The music is great but the subject matter is painful. Why is it that artists often do their best work when their personal life is falling apart? Is it something about being in touch with your emotions, the rawness of the exposed nerves. Oh, it's painful to even say that.
Gosh it was a busy weekend. So often this feels like a diary and I don't want RiverDogs to be a long list of what we did. Suffice it to say that it was busy. Rox was in and out of the hospital. Sure was good to get her back home. She had a bad prescription from some out of town pharmacy and got a 100X dose of medicine. It could have been much worse. She is pretty tough and will be back to normal soon.
