We managed to find three strings of white lights and in an uncommon display of energy, we draped and hung the lights between the pillars on our front porch. Those lights combined with the lighted deer and tree have really brightened the front yard. Of course if you are on the road it will be hard to see everything, but if you drive in, it is very pleasant.

We got a lot done on Saturday - much remains, but we made progress. Our church Sunday School program was last night and we shared much laughter with the kids. Our friends Steve and Janie came over Saturday night and Greg and Rox joined us for dinner yesterday. All in all a busy and satisfying weekend. Also, Jeff was here last night and brought me a piece of pumpkin pie. Ah yes, a good weekend.

But alas, it is Monday and the work life goes on for a few more days. So with that in mind I must say adios. Much preparation lies ahead for Christmas and for our trip to San Miguel de Allende. More later, RD out for now.
