Music Buzz! The latest addition to my musical library includes a new disc titled Failer from Kathleen Edwards. She has been compared to Lucinda Williams and Neil Young. Some of her phrasing is reminiscent of both, but she cuts her own groove as well. A gem of a debut from this Canadian girl. She is here for SXSW and the buzz is growing. Some are comparing the excitement around her to that which surrounded Norah Jones last year. While her album is good and will find a following, I don't think she will have quite the year that Norah did. That is a safe prediction given that Norah has sold over 7 million CDs since last March. Wow!
