You have to STOP and listen... New music that I haven't mentioned previously. I had the opportunity to grab video at the Women In Rock showcase a few weeks ago. I may have mentioned that in an earlier post. Saw and heard some amazing new talent that just now two weeks later is showing the shine of a beautiful gem. We were most impressed by Vienna Teng. She is from San Francisco and has signed with Virt Records out of the Boston area. Incredible singer/songwriter, great stage presence in the Eva Cassidy, Norah Jones, Tori Amos genre. I looked at my video of her and am impressed all over again. Others that we enjoyed from that day were Beth Boucher, Anne McCue (what a fantastic guitar player), Matson Belle, and Sis DeVille (supergroup from Austin). More on all of these later.
