Music with Meaning. Do yourself a favor and buy the Johnny Cash American IV album. Damn what a great CD. Sure you're going to find yourself standing there looking at the song list asking the question - do I really want to hear Johnny Cash singing "your own personal Jesus?" You remember don't ya - the hit from Depeche Mode back in the never-ending 80's? Yes it is the same song, but it sure sounds different when JC sings it. BTW, this is not the best song on the CD - that honor goes to two songs - yep, a tie. When the Man Comes Around and Hurt. You could buy the CD and only listen to those two and still feel like you got your money's worth. Great album by a true legend. The guy's career lasted over 50 years and his final album was up for album of the year. The video for the song "Hurt" won video of the year. Take my word, you will be moved.
