A Day To Remember. Februrary 1, 2003 now goes into the memory bank with May 6, 1959, November 22, 1963, January 28, 1986, February 22, 1996, September 11, 2001, and those few other dates where tragic events are stored forever. Some are personal and some are shared with the rest of the world.
We lost the Columbia yesterday and seven astronauts above the state where we live. The shuttle exploded into a bright shining star 40 miles above the earth at 12,000 miles per hour. A moment frozen in time forever. God Bless those astronauts, their families, and God Bless America. We shall survive and be stronger for it, but for now, it is painful and very, very sad. Hug those you love and tell them you love them, now and forever.
