wonderful WHO

THOUGHT:

"People are generally better persuaded by the reasons which they have themselves discovered than by those which have come into the mind of others" (Pascal, Pensees #10).

"We will live either the examined or the unexamined life...the examined life is better" (James Sire, The Universe Next Door, 18).

WORD:

"I pray that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you a spirit of wisdom and revelation as you come to know him, so that, with the eyes of your heart enlightened, you may know what is the hope  to which he has called you, what are the riches of his glorious inheritance among the saints, and what is the immeasurable greatness of his power for us who believe, according to the working of his great power." Ephesians 1:17-19

DEED:

Lord, help me to give my kids the room to discover for themselves the wonderful "WHO" of You. More and more, create in me the desire and intention to refrain from filling every void with verbiage...to allow questions to linger long enough for us all to seek truth from You, the source of all truth. And when my children arrive at a more complete understanding of Your ways than i came to on my own, bandage my bruised ego and give me grace to grow from Your light shining through them. Amen.
