It is still a big surprise for many hardcore userlanders that radio userland is a first class Javascript IDE. Start coding webapplications with Javascript inside of Radio Userland right away.
This especially important because the use of Javascript inside of Radio Userland shows, why this Blogging application is so much more powerful than its competitors.
But one caveat remains. All I'm gonna present you will just work with RU on the Mac OS9 and MacOSX platforms. Me personally , I consider this just another advantage.
To begin you have to download the JavaScript OSA component from http://www.latenightsw.com/freeware/JavaScriptOSA/index.html . JavaScript OSA is a port of the Mozilla JavaScript 1.5 scripting system to the Macintosh in the form of a OSA (Open Scripting Architecture) component. You can use JavaScript OSA as a scripting language in any Macintosh application supporting OSA languages, such as the Script Editor included with the MacOS or like we intend to do it with Frontier and Radio Userland.
