Today we went to Brighton. We decided that Brighton is "our bitch" because we don't like going there, but we go there to get stuff done - like laundry. We went there this morning and Rob went to his second part-time job while I went to the laundromat to get some serious laundry done. I think I spent $50 on laundry. That is just wrong. I might have like $4 left on the Laundromax card, so techincally I guess I spent $46 on laundry. Anyway, I did something like 3 "4-load" washes, 2 "3-load" washes and one "5-load+" wash. So that makes... 23 loads of laundry, however they measure a "load". I assume that means what one standard washer could wash. It was totally insane. But in exactly 3 hours I was done, everything was folded and in the car. So that's a lot better than the 4 days it would take to do it at home with the one washer and dryer... especially because the dryer only dries on super-high heat which means about 70% of our clothes have to hang to dry because you can't dry them at a high temperature.
Also today it got hot here and for a while didn't seem humid but then by the time it was getting dark it was pretty unpleasant. It's a lot better now, but still a little warm. The next couple of days are supposed to be like this (like 85-90 degrees) then it's supposed to cool into the 70's. I'm sick of this hot weather. I hate New England. The winter lasts like 8 months then the summer is hot and humid and miserable. I heard some idiot DJ on the radio today saying it was 92 and "that's fine with me!" What a moron. It was just in the upper 90's and humid for several weeks in a row back in early and mid-August and she's acting like it's the first warm day after winter. People just annoy me. Oh, I have a driving story but I'll just put that on a separate page along with a Billy update. We're switching and taking turns but my last turn I got frustrated and made him play after I couldn't get past one part. Until now I was doing our money in Quicken but I just finished. At least we got paid Friday so my account isn't negative anymore! My mom made fun of me and said, "I saw your website. You think you're pretty cool now, don't you?" Yep... cooler than you, Mom!
