Welcome to my page... where I'm always right and no one can argue with me.
We just saw Jackass. It was really funny but not long enough. The only thing I really couldn't watch was this part where they purposely gave themselves paper cuts. I have a weird phobia about papercuts which some people might remember. I used to worry that I would get a papercut on my eyeball. I don't know why. Anyway, the papercut thing was so gross. I totally couldn't watch it and I had to cover my ears so I couldn't hear it either. I still need to get a Halloween costume for the party I'm going to tomorrow. I don't think I can come up with one from my stuff at home, I really don't. Maybe after CANstruction is done tomorrow morning I will try to stop by a costume shop or a goodwill or something like that to look for something. Who knows. Rob is going to work at his second job for part of tomorrow since I'm doing stuff most of the day and then at night too. The Halloween Party I'm going to though is in Arlington, which I can't get to by train, so that sucks. So I guess I'll investigate the bus - I know one runs down that way. But for coming home I guess I might take a cab. Unless Rob doesn't need the car, then I guess I'd drive but I don't know about parking. Well, I guess I will just figure it out. Sunday we're still debating whether to go to IKEA or not. I'm leaning towards not but who knows? We should at least order the larger stuff we've decided we can't fit in the car I guess. We'll see. Anyway, nothing exciting happened today at work. Just a pretty normal day. Well actually, it was kind of quiet. A lot of people were out of the office traveling. They announced 4 promotions today at work. Three people were promoted to Associate and one to Associate Principal. I work a lot with the guy who was promoted to Associate Principal (that's one step down from Principal, which is synonymous with Partner) - he's a good guy. Anyway, that was the big scoop at work today. I guess that's about it. I can't stay up too late because I have to be out of here EARLY in the morning so I can meet people from my work at the office in the morning and head over to the Boston Design Center for Canstruction. Hopefully building our sculpture will go well! Last year it did. |
