Ha ha. Poor Heather. That is pretty funny that your prof thought you had a minor hearing loss and a weird accent. Rob and I were just talking about how you talk like a weirdo the other day. I wouldn't call it an accent and I don't think you sound like you have a Boston accent at all. But anyway, you just have a weird Heather way of talking. I guess I'm used to it so I can't really describe it. But maybe that's what he was talking about. You don't always enunciate your words and you pronounce things kind of weird. I don't know. Thank God for the extra hour of time we get tonight! Today I did Canstruction with my company. We had a good time and our project turned out well - it's a giant sandwich with a bite out of it. It's sitting on a blue plate ("The Blue Plate Special" is what it's called) with a pickle next to it. However, once we walked around there were other ones that were more complicated or cooler ideas (I thought) so I don't know if we'll win any prizes. But it was fun and we did a good job. Then I came home and was supposed to be getting ready for the Halloween party at Princess Danielle's boyfriend Elijah's place in Arlington. But instead I was so tired I fell asleep (so did Rob - we were both up early - he drove me over to meet people at my office for our project this morning) and slept through half the party. And I hadn't had a shower or eaten dinner or decided on a Halloween costume yet so I decided not to go. To top it all off, I cleverly did not bring home any information about the party from work. I had received an "evite" to it but did not think about the fact that I only had copies of that email at work until it was already tonight. So I wasn't certain what time it started and I didn't know how I should get there or his house number (I know where the street is). I was not exactly organized. Sorry Elijah, sorry Danielle. I'm sure you had fun without me.

So instead, after our nap, we went and got dinner at the stupid 99 because we didn't know what else to do (it's the only close-by place that's usually not too crowded to get a seat and is on the way into Cambridge or Boston if we're heading there). Then we went and saw Comedian at Kendall Square Cinema. It was really funny. A good movie. Then we came home and fell asleep in front of the TV. (See a pattern here? Maybe we need more sleep.) Rob went to bed a little while ago but I wanted to post to my site before I did. I guess that's about it.

Tomorrow I guess we'll just be doing chores around here... as usual, trying in vain to keep up with everything.
