Welcome to my page... where I'm always right and no one can argue with me.

This show Insomniac is on now and it's kind of funny because the guy is in Boston right now. It's just funny to see all these places and recognize everyplace. But too bad that this guy went to Brighton for the bars. Lame. Brighton sucks!

Anyway, Rob has me set up now so that I can post to this site by emailing, so I can post even when I don't have the laptop with me (ie: while I'm at work). For now, though, the site lives on our laptop so the posts will only actually go online when the site is up and running on our computer. But it's OK because I can still email things during the day and when we set up the computer at home at night it will get all the posts and post them - this way I won't have to try to remember things, I can just email them when I think of them during the day.

Anyway, we are so tired lately and I don't really know why. All I can think is that it's because of the reduced daylight hours. We've just been so sleepy. Tonight we were falling asleep in front of the t.v. at like 9:30. Sad!

The only crazy story I have from today is that the guy who sits next to me at work and is a big Republican started ranting about how all Democrats are really Communists, and then continued by adding, "This damn pinko commie state!" meaning Massachusetts because it's so liberal. He just sounded like an idiot. Plus, no one within earshot agreed with him so why didn't he just shut up? How unfortunate.

Friday afternoon we are having our semi-annual all-staff meeting. We have one in the fall and one in the spring. I'm a little weirded out about it. I'm freaked out about there being more lay-offs. Not because I'm worried I'll be laid off, but because it just makes morale so low and people are in constant fear of losing their jobs. So I don't know if lay-offs will happen before then, after then, not at all, etc. but it seems like a time that would force their hand to do something. We'll see. Hopefully no more layoffs will happen.

Well, I'm pretty tired so I guess I'll go to sleep now. Goodnight.  11:31:10 PM  permalink

Ha ha, here is a funny link Dan sent me. This game is so wrong.  1:45:49 AM  permalink

Tuesday but past midnight...

Today nothing big happened. Oh, except there was a crazy lady on the train! When I left work today and got on the train at Downtown Crossing, there was a crazy lady already on the train in the car that I got on. She was sitting down maybe 15 feet from me and talking so loud it was really basically yelling. When I got on the train she was yelling about how you have to be careful about doctors because they "kill children in hospitals" and about how "they show it on television" and then that they killed her daughter in the hospital. I don't know if she was talking to someone specifically or just to the whole train, but then she started calling someone a "cunt-lapper" and swearing the f word every other word out of her mouth. She was at least in her late fifties if not sixties but it was hard to say because she had on about as much makeup as Tammy Faye Baker and her hair was dyed jet black. Anyway, then someone across from her told her to shut up because she was giving him a headache and she started yelling at him and asked him if he was a cop. He said yes but I think just to shut her up. Then she started yelling and swearing at him that he couldn't do anything to her and that no, she was the cop and he was under arrest and then she started stating his Miranda rights like so: "You have the right to remain silent anything you say can be used against you fucking asshole... you have the right to an attorney so fuck you!" It was some nice stuff. She got off at North Station, thank goodness. At least it is a funny story to tell. But she was seriously crazy.

Anyway, we were just watching the most awful TV ever - these two terrible shows we used to watch all the time, unfortunately - Elimidate and Change of Heart. We watched the whole Elimidate but only about 1 minute of Change of Heart before I turned the TV off. Awful "reality dating" shows. On the Elimidate there was one guy who starts out on a group date with 4 girls and eliminates them one by one as the date goes on. He was a total loser and a tool but thought he was just hot stuff. The girls were all trying to hard but then one of them eliminated herself after he told some dumb story about breaking his arm when he was drunk on spring break. The last two girls that were left were of course the dumbest and sluttiest ones. Nice. It was so awful.

Anyway, no other good stories from today aside from the crazy lady on the train. Relatively quiet day at work. Probably because two of the principals on my floor were out on business trips. But I was still busy. Just not too hectic.

Tomorrow is only Wednesday which is painful because I'm really tired. Well, it is almost 2am but I fell asleep for a while earlier so it's not as bad as it seems.

Stacie said she was going to start calling me cat vomit because of all my cat vomit stories. Well, I have another. This morning one of the cats vomited into a pile of laundry. Thankfully, it was at least a pile of dirty laundry, but it's still totally disgusting. I couldn't even bear to deal with it so it's still there. Nasty cats.

Well, goodnight everyone. Happy Wednesday.  1:41:10 AM  permalink
