Welcome to my page... where I'm always right and no one can argue with me.

Here is an interesting site about some parks and open space areas in Boston. It also has links to info from other cities.  10:15:34 PM  permalink

So we tried to have an adventure when we got home from work tonight and drive somewhere different to eat but we couldn't find anything so we just went home. Then the dog had to go out but first my mom called so I talked to her for a while... then Billy started doing his routine where he runs into the bedroom and barks which we are supposed to know means he wants to go out... so then I took him out because Rob gets a night off since today was his last day at work. I talked to my mom outside with Billy till he pooped and I had to pick it up, then I hung up.

We ordered boring pizza for dinner just because we don't have much for groceries in the house and a lot of our pots and pans are still dirty, making it hard to cook. Now that all our laundry is done and we actually have clean dish towels to dry stuff with, I'm going to get all the dishes done tonight... hallelujah!

So right now we're just waiting for the pizza to show up.

My friend Claire sent me the coolest thing. She is starting a business making custom card/postcards etc. herself. She sent a little sampling of them and they're so creative and fun! She's my hero. She and I both used to make lots of cards and stuff for friends, etc. in college and a while ago we talked about how we should go into business at least on the side or something making custom cards. But she actually did it because she's not a loser like me! Way to go, Claire! They are really nice... did I mention that yet? I don't think so. Ha ha. If anyone wants some cool postcards or cards for an event or holiday or just to use to correspond, etc., let me know and I'll give you Claire's info.  8:46:03 PM  permalink

OK, so a crazy guy sat with me at South Station during my lunch break today. At first I thought he was going to be normal because he asked very politely (with a British accent) if he could sit with me, and he was older and looked like a professor or something. But then he talked to me too much and ate really fast and messily and then was tearing newspapers apart like he was looking for something and talking to himself. Then he asked me if I knew where he could "look at the internet" then said, "like a Kinko's or something?" I didn't know because, well, I don't use Kinko's at all. Then he was all surprised like I was a loser for not knowing where the nearest Kinko's was. Then he asked me if he took the red line to get to the Fine Arts Museum. So I said no, and told he needed to take the Green Line. Then he said he must hurry and ran off, and left all his trash behind. Oh, but first he offered me the roll he didn't eat. No thanks, crazy guy!

So Rob's last day is going pretty well. Everyone is being nice to him, not giving him a hard time, etc. That's really good. He is going to leave on time today... for once! So tomorrow begins his days of not going to that place anymore, and trying to find somewhere fun to hang out and do a job search. As part of my girlfriend contract, which he is constantly amending, I am required to meet him for lunch downtown "any time he wants to" since he will be bored and by himself all day now. So maybe we will get to see each other for fun lunches a lot. Of course, they should be turkey sandwiches packed from home lunches! The only sad thing is that the weather's not nice so we can't go sit and eat in Post Office Square or anything. Too bad.
