Welcome to my page... where I'm always right and no one can argue with me.

By the way, here is our post online. Did we explain everything enough? Were we at all unclear about how the transaction would work? Ugh. People just suck.  12:48:52 AM  permalink

Ugh. Of course, like everything else, this has to not work. So first the guy was being really wishy-washy about how to get the car shipped to him, how to get payment to us, he wanted to set up an escrow account (which we weren't willing to do), etc. Then today Rob noticed a small spot of rust on the frame of one of the windows (not on the main body of the car - the black trim divider on one of the windows) and we told the guy about it and then he didn't want the car because they "don't have rust in Arizona". So that was fun. Now we are trying to contact other people who showed interest in the car but we're freaked out. We also think that the dealer could decide they don't want our car at any time - we were supposed to call them today, so if we just tried to show up on Friday or something, they might have no interest in the car or not remember us, etc.

Why do people have to suck? It was like the guy bought the car, then used that as a chance to finish deciding if he actually wanted the car. He wanted to have someone come inspect it, all this other nonsense. It's like dude, don't buy a car sight unseen halfway across the country from you! Several people that were interested live in the area and would have come by for a test drive if the guy hadn't ended the auction by buying the car from Arizona. Anyway, so we're pissed off. Everyonce keep your fingers crossed that everything will work out and we'll get to sell the car to someone who's not a bastard.  12:46:19 AM  permalink
