So tonight I called Mom but not until kind of late. I should have called earlier but we were running around (like always, I know) because we tried to see if someone at the Apple Store could fix our problem... which is the latch not closing right and the lid looking crooked or warped. But they were totally unhelpful. I'll let Rob explain that on his site at some point. It was a fruitless trip. Then we came home and ate and watched the NCAA final game between Syracuse and Kansas. I called Mom during halftime. Dad thinks he is some kind of traveling superstar or something. He just got home from Paris yesterday and today he went to South Carolina. Well, la-dee-da, Keyrock!
Anyway, also there are crazy animal stories from there... Squeaky, who weighs like 5 pounds, has some medicine she needs to take and it's crazy hard to give it to her - Mom has to wrap her in a towel to keep her still. What joy our pets bring us. Ha ha.
So the Information Minister of Iraq is claiming that the American and British troops are not even in Baghdad and that the city is "safe, secure and great". Give me a break. Sadly, sir, your city is none of those things.
Goodnight.
