I finally remembered the thing that I've been meaning to post about and can never think of when I'm sitting in front of the computer. Get ready because it's really important. Here goes...
Ladies, please sit with your knees together when you are wearing a skirt. Is that really so much to ask? I really don't know what happened. Remember that part of A League of Their Own when the girls are being trained in etiquette, etc. and their instructor tells them to always sit with their knees together because "a lady reveals nothing"? Well, there apparently aren't a whole lot of ladies walking around the world anymore. Almost every single woman I see on the train, all ages, all degrees of being in or out of shape, etc., who is wearing a skirt, sits with her legs apart like they're trying to show something off. It's very upsetting. Do they not realize it? Do they not care? Do they really think no one else notices it? As Priscilla would say, "the mind boggles."
