Where I'm always right and no one can argue with me.

Some local woman put a sign on the lawn that says "Who Wants to Marry My Daughter?" and ten guys showed up. It's pretty much just like those "who wants to marry my father" etc., garbage that's on TV. There's a whole plan - it will last 5 weeks... eliminations every so often, etc. This is craziness.

And hallelujah, the weatherman says the humidity is going down until about Thursday... a little relief is better than none.

Here is an interesting article... and here is another. Sometimes I don't know how I feel about men are like this and women are like that stuff but in any case, I agree with some of the stuff these articles say. Even if I don't know if it can all be attributed to men vs. women.

So I just saw on the local news that cops and firefighters are banned from smoking cigarettes on or off duty in Massachusetts, and that if they do, they can be fired. Now I hate smoking and I think it's a very stupid thing to do, and I think it's good to have it banned in restaurants, etc., because I don't want to be forced to be around it. But I think this is going a little far. Unless you are going to make cigarettes illegal in general, I don't see how it makes any sense for just cops and firefighters to be held accountable for their behavior. As soon as you start rounding up the people standing outside their offices smoking, fine. But if they're allowed to, then cops and firefighters should be too. Bizarre.
