I am a loser. I have taken more language courses than anyone else I can think of that I know (not counting Europeans since they actually learn other languages and aren't idiots like Americans)... but I can't actually remember any of them well enough to get by at all.
I took 2 years of French, 2 years of Spanish, and 3 years of Japanese. Oh, and a semester of German. Yeah. I can't read Japanese anymore, and I feel stupid trying to speak any of these. And languages always were fun and kind of came easily to me. I should do something about re-teaching things to myself. But it's hard, we never have any time. Anyone want to tutor me?
Hey, maybe my friend Elaine (I have more than one friend Elaine but I mostly won't use last names on my site just in case people don't want to be associated with me on the web... ha ha...) can tutor me in Spanish. And Eva can teach me German. (By the way, Eva, tell Melone happy birthday for me!) Now who will teach me French and Japanese? I can study the Japanese characters by myself, but the rest I need help with... I think I might remember the most of Japanese... that's the most recent thing I took.
